Growth awareness

Help us to raise awareness to support children, young people, adults and families affected by growth conditions and growth concerns

A key activity of the Child Growth Foundation is to raise awareness and understanding of growth concerns and conditions, to support families in the child growth community, and to improve detection, and support the earlier diagnosis of, undergrowth and overgrowth conditions.

Awareness campaign: Leave no shadow of doubt

To help raise awareness we have launched our new awareness campaign, made possible thanks to funding from Sandoz, and a range of other support from a number of organisations.

Our much needed campaign aims to reach those who are concerned about their child’s growth to encourage them to leave no shadow of doubt, trust their instincts and get in touch with the Child Growth Foundation. As part of the campaign we have a new dedicated page of our website, at: www.childgrowthfoundation.org/instinct.

We also have a page for our community who’d like to find out more and to help  us spread the word,  at: www.childgrowthfoundation.org/campaign-instinct. The page includes further details about the campaign plus social media images and posters you can download to print and share with friends, family and colleagues to help raise awareness, to spread this important message to families with a concern about their child’s growth.

Children’s Growth Awareness Week | Children’s Growth Awareness Day 

Every year we celebrate Children’s Growth Awareness Week, which takes place in the third week of September, and International Children’s Growth Awareness Day, on 20th September. These are such important dates in our charity’s calendar, which are marked internationally, and we have a range of activities and communications taking place each year to mark these special dates.
