COVID-19 Appeal

We need your help during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Child Growth Foundation’s support for people affected by growth conditions is vital and each year we help around 1,500 families. During the current situation our work is needed more than ever as families try to understand the impact the virus will have on those they love and care about.

The Chair of Trustees, Nick Child and Membership and Parent Support Manager, Jenny Child, have warned about the impact the pandemic and subsequent lockdown is likely to have on the CGF’s support and future financial stability. You can read the full statement here:

Neil's Row-to-Jersey Update
Day 21

Week 3 completed, omly 7 weeks to go!

Three achievements this week:

1) Completed a quarter of the distance, having now rowed a total of 124km (quarter way was 115.67km)

2) The rowing machine distance counter has been clocked (it only goes up to 99.99km)

3) I discovered that I have triceps and hamstring muscles (didn't even know hamstrings were muscles)

This week saw me 'virtually' row through Desborough, Rothwell and the brilliantly named village of 'Old'. Then on through Northampton and I am now camped just outsdie Towcester. So a big wave to you, if you live anywhere near those places! Next week I should be in Oxford.

Remember, you can sponsor me at the link below. Thank you so much.
