Position: Growth Specialist Nurse

Are you looking for a new challenge?

Would you like to work in a role where you can make a real difference to children and families living with an overgrowth or undergrowth condition?

This is an exciting time for the Child Growth Foundation as we look to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated nurse to support children and families affected by rare endocrine and genetic growth conditions, and the health professionals who support them. Your background is likely to be in nursing, either paediatric nursing, paediatric endocrine nursing, or public health nursing.

The role is a varied one and the successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking research into the various conditions supported by the CGF to more fully understand the impact these conditions have on the children and families living with them. The role will also be instrumental in developing and delivering a height measurement training programme to medical professionals. It will also will include working closely with the Development Manager and Membership and Parent Support Manager to provide medical information and guidance and contribute to the charity’s information production.

The role is for 14-hours per week and is initially a one-year contract, with a view to extending subject to funding.
